My girlfriend's childhood home has a perfect tree for migration right outside the bedroom window. Saw my first warblers and vireos there last year.

Had a special time watching a great horned owl at the Arboretum today. It was unfazed by the many blue jays and northern flickers harassing it nearby.

First time posting the same species twice here but I just couldn't resist after my close encounter with a red-tailed. Just a beautiful and massive bird staring right at me.
