If you are going birding with a group of friends, rather than everyone in the group adding their sighting to Chirp, just one user needs to tag their friends when posting the sighting. When you tag a friend in a sighting, everyone that is tagged in the sighting (including the user posting the sighting) will have the bird species added to their sightings and thefore their life list!
So, to tag a friend or multiple friends in a sighting, simply open the add sighting screen, enter the sighting details and then expand the sighting field, click on 'Tag Friends' and add all the users that saw the specific species with you. Simple as that!
